Jennifer Maloney is an observational still life painter who works primarily in oil, gouache, and charcoal. She has extensive experience teaching Color Theory and has contributed to three editions of the book “Color: A Workshop for Artists and Designers” by David Hornung. She has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, New York Institute of Technology, and is currently a tenured Associate Professor at Adelphi University where she directs the Foundations Program in studio art and leads the study abroad program to Florence, Italy. Maloney has exhibited across the United States. Some of her exhibitions include DFN Gallery in Chelsea and The Painting Center in SoHo. She is represented by The Cynthia Winings Gallery in Blue Hill, ME.
