ANNE SANGER

The founder of Pinkwater Gallery, Anne Sanger is also an abstract artist and fashion illustrator. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning (DAAP) and pursued a career in the fashion industry before relocating to Kingston in Upstate New York and opening Pinkwater Gallery in September 2019.

After rediscovering the joy of painting at the Woodstock School of Art in 2015, Anne transitioned from a corporate job to life as a full-time artist. Anne is also one of three co-founders of Kingston Social, a unique community-minded space offering an authentic Italian café experience alongside a modern mercantile shop and contemporary art gallery. As the curator of the fine art and giclée prints available for purchase at Kingston Social, Anne is passionate about spotlighting the work of human artists.
