Anne Gabriele is a Brooklyn native whose career as a photography stylist spans more than 40 years. This background brings a visual sensibility to both her fine art photography and her ceramic work, a medium she has been exploring for just over two years.
For the past eight years, Anne has been deeply focused on the cameraless cyanotype process, capturing the ephemeral beauty inspired by her garden and the ocean surf. Now, she channels this focus on texture and detail into her sculptural ceramics, translating the forms from her prints into hand-built clay vessels.
Anne’s commitment to exploring nature's relationship with art has been recognized through multiple artist residencies, including those at the Cape Cod National Seashore and Fire Island National Seashore. She currently splits her time and creative energy between New York City and the Hudson Valley.
