“Using cyanotype, a process that depends on chemistry, time, and light, I wanted to make flawless prints. But the ones that stayed with me were the ones where something slipped, a blur, a crease, too much sun, not enough time. They became quiet lessons in letting go. Each print in this series holds the trace of an ‘error’, a mark of control lost, or something unexpected gained. Some images repeat, changing only through the mistakes made in trying to fix them. Others invite chance, using objects and unpredictable elements that resist mastery. The work leans into process, not product. Failure, not flawlessness.”
