E N C H A N T E D

JULY | AUGUST 2021

E N C H A N T E D features the deeply personal work of Helena Palazzi and was inspired by the Scandinavian folklore that she grew up hearing as a child. The viewer becomes immersed in a mysterious world of beguiling female creatures - älvor, huldra and skogsfrun - who inhabit a forest of unknown depths.

A native of Sweden by way of Italy, Helena relocated to Kingston with her family several years ago and now bases her thriving photography business here in the Hudson Valley. When she isn’t heading up projects for her company, Yellow House Productions, she is going back to her roots in fine art and incorporating encaustic and painting techniques into her work.
